When I woke up this morning, I had a teapot. It was green.

Now it is mid-morning, and I no longer have a teapot. Of any colour.*

Now I must go and buy a new teapot. Thus are the wheels of society kept revolving.


*I do still have a black cat, but that is magnanimity of the highest order. The very highest.
