The forecast's wet -
The ground is dry.
Actually I am coming to the conclusion that here in California we don't forecast weather, we merely prophesy. It has a whole different relationship to the actuality, and nobody's Cassandra.
It might yet dump water on our heads, though. I have to go seek out a turkey. I understand that they are flightless birds; I may surprise 'em. It is not impossible that this wind will dump me on their heads. I always was a flight risk.
