desperanceThe manufacturer of our preferred brand of cat litter has just totally redesigned the way you pour the litter from its box, for the second time since the boys and I moved here three years ago.
Of our courtesy (for they are very courteous boys) we will entirely overlook the fact that this latest redesign was forced upon them by the catastrophic failure of the first, and merely celebrate the other fact, that the box no longer tears itself apart when you put it to first use. Yay.
Also in today's news, my already-beloved dentist has fitted my already-beloved new crown, with a minimum of fuss, and I am in hopes of no longer suffering sharp excesses of pain when I bite down on my poor cracked toof.
Oh, and? The Genius Loci kickstarter has passed its first stretch goal, which means my pay rise is assured; which means I have nothing further personally to gain from promoting it, yay, so I can do it in an entirely disinterested fashion, merely pointing out that every stretch goal hereafter will make the book a better brighter thing, yay! - so that all benefits from here on devolve onto the reader.
