On kitchens, and capacity
Jun. 4th, 2015 06:36 pmI dunno - sometimes I yearn for one of those vast open kitchens with a long deal table where a dozen friends could sit and drink and talk while I cook.
Right now, though, we have a slew of friends in the clubhouse and they are all talking at once and it is utterly delightful - and I get to sneak back here and cook alone in my one-man kitchen, and that is delightful too. Cue nods of understanding, murmurs of the-introvert-who-loves-company, etc etc. All my skills are solitary, but addressed to other people, individually or en masse. This is probably not accidental.
