"Off to work in the library," did I say? Hah! All very well and good; except that when I got there, I found that the Vaio's battery was entirely flat. Which is particularly annoying as I had (unusually) remembered that I forgot to recharge it yesterday, and so had changed that tired one for another. Which must apparently have been flat on its own account, and just sitting around waiting to ambush me this way.

So I have done no work thus far today, only shopped and mooched about. And now I'm hungry, and shall go devil some chicken-livers. That'll teach 'em.
