La lutte, should she continue?
Aug. 28th, 2015 03:55 pmOkay, so now I'm a little upset, a little anxious, very disappointed.
The last couple of days, I've been working my way through the Scrivener tutorial, and had quite convinced myself it was the right way to handle the whole Crater School project, with all that that implies.
This morning, I started setting up the project in Scrivener - and so far it has proved unable to import my extant two chapters (can't read the file format, apparently, though I saved them into docs exactly to enable that), and more worryingly has crashed entirely, multiple times, when I've merely been trying to drag files into the trash.
This is the Linux iteration, which is an unofficial beta - but if it's that unstable, I should probably abandon it now and resume my former habits. It's such a shame, though. My former habits are chaotic, and I was really looking forward to setting the Crater School within a solid, careful structure. Snf!
