We spend hours a day at the mall, just soaking up the free aircon and going to Thai films- every single one of which features at least a couple of transsexuals in significant roles.
Envy me not the isolation, the constant en guarde against being mistaken for a bi-pedal ATM, the lack of comfortable peers, having to haggle every transaction or a thousand other things.
I now seek the comfortable and am looking forward to a break from the exotic.
My Thai is passable, if the situation is not too complex. My accent is horrid, but I get by.
