Assertiveness, and hubris...

So I was just feeling quite pleased with myself, because I got quite stroppy on a helpline that was being stupidly unhelpful about some train tickets; I thought I had just discovered assertiveness, a little late in life. It did me no good, of course, they continued not to help me in the least, but at least I felt better about it, because I did at least tell them that what they were saying made no sense.

Then I saw what must be my new neighbours, one of. A female student-type person, getting out of a taxi.

With a drumkit.
