Coming home from a free lunch, I passed a student couple; and she was giggling as he said, "I've literally just smoked a spliff, and--"

And I was privately amused, and thought, "Hell, they sound just like we used to..."

And then I thought, "Hell, that was thirty years ago! Aren't we supposed to have had Gen X and Gen Y since then? Shouldn't they, um, be sounding different...?"

Ach, they come not single spies but in battalions! I know we know this, but none the less. Every time, it is a surprise. And never a nice one.

My bath, it was chilly; the water, it was not hot. The pilot light of the boiler, it has gone out. It will not be relighted, oh no.

Come the morning, I guess I will be asking my plumber to step around, if I can get hold of him and if he is free.

Buggrit.
