Aaargh!

Those of you who ordered books and are still waiting for them? Please be patient. Turns out that logistics is not a strength of mine. Also, that I am being sabotaged at every turn.

"Have you taken the fucking rollie things?" is a waste of breath, really not a question at all. Of course they've taken the fucking rollie things. The real question is, what have they done with them? ... The real question, of course, is the one that goes unanswered. And the fucking rollie things of record are the sellotape and parcel tape, without which etc etc...

I was enjoying my job this morning, damn it. Birds and cats and oyster cards: I knew just where I was going, for the rest of the day.

Now I'm coming all apart. It is pathetic.

In other news, I had just finished the distracting short story (finally! I've written something Karen doesn't like!!) and was getting back to my poor neglected Pandaemonium, which is still due at the end of Jan despite still being barely started yet, when guess what arrived in the inbox? Yup. Copy-edit for House of Bells. Which they'd really like before Xmas, thank you very much...

Oy. It's not the writing books that eats away time, it's the everything-else. Please to leave me alone now, and let me get on with it...?
