So yesterday I biddeded on two separate vintage Kitchenaids, and lost out on both, grr; so this morning I have done the other thing, and bought via buy-it-now rather than this irritating bidding thing.

$164, including shipping. Beater, dough hook, whisk. I'll let you know when it arrives.

(Also the internet is full of attachments, I am just sayin'. Attachments at crazy prices, some of 'em. I could've bought a pea-shelling device, for another $150...)

In an increasingly rare non-kitchen-related post, I pause merely to point out that it rained last night, overnight and this morning. It's late June, people. The cats are outraged; we are merely bewildered. The garden, I hope, will be loving it, but it still ought not to be.
