Technically, yes, it's a private library, the Literary and Philosophical Society of Newcastle upon Tyne; but the unofficial motto is 'not so much a library, more a way of life'. The official website is here (http://www.litandphil.org.uk); I will post some pix of my own, soonest. And when you come up, I'll introduce you.
