I've just seen Mac having a good long steady slurp at the water-bowl. For the first time since he moved in, a year ago. That'll teach him to tiger down an unhealthy portion of blue cheese. Hitherto he's always asserted that gushyfudz provided plenty enough water for any sensible desert cat...

Do I anthropomorphise? Very well then, I anthropomorphise. Cats are vast, they contain multitudes; for them, comparison with humans is demeaning. Hah! I say again.

Actually comparison with humans is punishable by death, but the sentence may be postponed because food keeps better when it is alive. Also food can be useful for supplying other food. And food is fun to annoy.
