Still waiting
Mar. 28th, 2008 11:37 amThe woman on the phone said the delivery-person would be around "about the same time as before". The previous attempts to deliver were at 10.30 and 10.45. It's now 11.40. What does this mean? Is that normal variation? Are they late? Has my package not made it onto their lorry? What...?
And while I wait, of course, the cats perforce wait too. They're shut into the dining room/kitchen area, behind the only door they cannot open (I think), because there is nothing worse than trying to take a delivery and sign a slip while two squirmy cats are making desperate bids for freedom between your legs. So none of us is happy right now.
In other news, those of you keeping a list of foodstuffs Mac will steal from the store-cupboard? Yes, of course meringues. Whyever not?
