Mine accurately guessed a few interests that don't have any direct hints in my list of interests, which amused me: I am a special little snowflake just like all the other special little snowflakes in my demographic.

I have an odd aversion to listing people in my interests. I don't know why it feels so different to me to say, "I am interested in the Manhattan Project," than, "I am interested in Caroline Stevermer," but it does. So I just don't do it.

Mmm, that is interesting. I confess to not having updated my list of interests since, oh, my first week on LJ? Just never think about it. But while I think I do understand your aversion, I can only do so by stretching: it seems so obvious that what one is actually saying is "I am interested in the works of Caroline Stevermer" rather than the actual human person, there can be no offence i'th'world; so yup, I think your aversion is indeed odd. And hence, of course, to be celebrated. It should be another aspect of the profile, that we could list our aversions. Me, I have such an aversion to the colour blue, and hardly anyone knows it...
