Quandary

I have a letter to post, and Barry's asleep on my stamps. Well, on my desk, atop the heap of papers that must somewhere contain my stamps.

Would it be ridiculous to go out and buy new stamps? The old ones will still be good for later use, after all; and if I go to the post office for them, I can post the letter at the same time, and...

And while you're at it, you could get out the vacuum cleaner and vacuum Barry as he sleeps so that you collect his loose fur before he manages to shed it all over the furniture. :-)

No, no! Noooooo! Poor Baz is terrified of the vacuum. As opposed to Mac, who regards it with unabashed interest and absolutely declines to get out of its way. Even at the cost of having his tail hoovered up.
