Oh, that was easy. I saw them, the two of them together in the one sunny sill, and said "You won't stay there, of course, while I..."

And then I raced downstairs for the camera and came back and indeed they had stayed there, out of the sheer perversity of cats; but of course we all knew it wouldn't last more than a minute, so I just started clicking. And lo. (There were a few intermediate photos, but actually not many. They are very predictable.)
