Well, that took longer than expected (as they always do) and came out a lot messier than one might wish (which is actually really unusual: when I went to bed last night, the last page was just a string of unfinished sentences that contradicted each other, vague notes towards an ending. I never do that). It still has stuff that needs fixed at the heart of the thing, as well as matter to be excised.

But: there is a storyness, entirely encompassed. Meat in the sandwich. First of the year.

And now I am L, and going out to yum cha in celebration thereof. I may indeed yum something other than cha; but really it's all about the dumplings.
