Time was, when I was unaccountably depressed, the phrase in my head would always be "In sooth, I know not why I am so sad. It wearies me; you say it wearies you."

These days, it appears to be "I haz a sad."

I used to speak to myself in Shakespeare; now I speak in lolcat.

I'm afraid that must be telling.

[ETA: another phrase just struck me. "If Shakespeare were alive today, he'd be speaking lolcat." It's a lovely thought, but I'm not sure I believe it...]
