No man is a hero to his cat
Aug. 20th, 2009 01:56 pmSometimes I deserve more credit than I get, y'know. I really do.
I went downstairs, and en route discovered a disgruntled Barry sitting on the windowsill, unsunned. I glanced outside and offered him comforts; said, "just wait a little, and sun will come. I promise."
And went downstairs to unload l*undry, carried it back up to drape over the banisters (what did l*underers do, before banisters?) - and lo, already my prophecy was realised, there was sunshine.
Did he look grateful at this miracle I wrought?
Did he hell.
