Aaand just to underline what I said an hour ago - well, what Bear said really, and I just repeated - about how this is so very definitely a day off, news comes of a sale.

Specifically, the short story I wrote this week, "Hothouse Flowers: or, The Discreet Boys of Dr Barnabas", has been taken by Ian Whates for his next NewCon anthology, The Bitten Word, an assemblage of vampire stories. Yay!
