Insufficiencies
Sep. 23rd, 2009 11:03 amI am a poor provider. My house is too cold for the boys' comfort, and I continue to fail to turn the heating on. They sit in odd places, fluffed up like birdies; they eye each other and wish that they were better friends, and could snuggle up together.
Failing that, they want to sit on me. Each in turn, and once - once! - both of them together.
Yesterday, Mac was the total lapcat, snuggle-and-purr and really no bitey at all. Today it is apparently Barry's turn. I don't know how they arrange these things between themselves, but it's clear that they do.
Also, poor Mac was So Hungry! last night that he had to chew into an apple. And a chocolate bar, but that is commonplace. He's never raided the fruit-bowl before. My cat, the scrumper...
