I need a steampunky word, for the people who would take living creatures and mechanical devices and conjoin them in a laboratory, to produce - well, eg great hornets whose bodies are bound about with bands of brass, whose stings are more than ordinarily poisonous, who react to curious and unlikely stimuli in unexpected ways...
