desperanceI knew there was a reason for bringing both the Laptop of Heavenly Perfection and its stunted evil twinlet the Obscure Object of Desire. Turns out to be this: that Stupid Windoze can suddenly not read my thumb-drive, insisting that I must format it before I can use it. Um, no? Its being full of work?
So, I turn with relief from Stupid Windoze to Lovely Linux, which reads everything with ease - but, because I am Stupid too and not at all the geek I sometimes try to pretend, I can't make the wifi work in Linux (Sony Vaio kit - everything's proprietary and complicated). So, two machines running at once: the little one tuned to you guys, and the slightly bigger one for Wurk.
