desperanceI am, of course, cooking. I appear to be making a rather complicated ham-and-pork-knuckle terrine in trotter jelly - sans recipe - which will take me a couple of days to achieve. Okay...
But also - I dunno, does everyone comfort-sing? Old favourites, in times of stress? I'm primed for it, as I was inveigled yesterday into seeing a school production of The Sound of Music (didn't take much inveigling, to be honest, as one of My Teenagers was playing Uncle Max), so I have been earwormed by an entire musical. And yes, I do know all the words. Yes, to the stage show as well as the movie. As witness.
