I have this little difficulty. I check the time by two sources, by and large: the clock on my computer, and the watch on my wrist.
The clock on my computer, I know to be running fast. Somewhere out there is a solution to this one; m'web guru once gave me a line of code that I ran from a command terminal here in Linux, and the machine would check with some atomic supercomputer somewhere and correct itself. Unfortunately, neither I nor he can remember the line of code, and I can't find the scrap of paper I noted it down on.
Meanwhile, my watch I know to be running slow, I suspect on account of failing battery.
So: clock fast, watch slow. Cat's dinner time? Somewhere between these two.
You see my problem?
