In other news, I have a house that's warm again. I love my plumber. I spoke to him last night; he came around this morning. Spent an hour here, fixed the heating pump, fixed the toilet flush, discussed the costs and choices and complications of fitting a shower in my bathroom, charged me twenty-five quid. And took a cheque.
