Tuesday round-up, redux
Oct. 31st, 2006 02:52 pmJust realised, I neglected to post the actual week's totals. Not that it matters, demonstrably, but they are these:
12,072 words
37 pages
I'm content with that. Not happy, exactly (why yes, my eyes are also wider than my stomach; but a man's reach should exceed his grasp, etc), but content. In a discontented kind of way.
In other news: I'm British, I shall talk about the weather. Which has, finally, turned. It's the last day of October, and I have just put the middleweight duvet on the bed, after sleeping this last month under the summerweight one in an unheated bedroom and being entirely comfy. Half the leaves are still, absurdly, on the trees; the other half are dancing on the blustery wind, and Barry is trying to slay them through the windows. This is noisy. And frustrating for him, and winceworthy and gigglemaking both at once for me.
