Tuesday round-up
Nov. 14th, 2006 11:14 amOkay, so the race is over, won and won. But won and won makes too, and I do too have to write another book, even if there's no one to go head-to-head with; so (in a slightly complicated count, because it includes a little bit of Other Stuff and also those pages I dumped, on the grounds that I did at least write them, and I may yet get to salvage something from them) here is the last week's work-count, because I'm used to this slightly curious midday-on-Tuesday declaration meme now, and I rather like it:
or in pages:
plus the seven pages/1740 words-from-elsewhere gives us a grand total of thirty-one pages for the week, and 8853 words. Which given that I had two days off and had to start a whole new book, it ain't bad. So long as we can buckle down to the serious stuff for a week or two, to get this proposal off before Xmas. Except that I know what'll happen, my agents'll quibble, they'll want changes, and then they'll say "Chaz, there's absolutely no point sending it out before the new year, nobody does anything in December..."
