Cook for a season

desperanceThe Fair Isle Bird Observatory is in sudden and urgent need of a cook for the season (from now till the end of October). For those who don't have the distribution of British islands at their fingertips, Fair Isle lies between Shetland and Orkney. Candidates would need to feed up to forty people at a time, plan the menus and manage the stock.
If things were a little otherwise, I would so be applying for this. As they are, though, I have to go to California; but I said I'd spread the word. (M'friend Ann Cleeves held this very post a number of years ago, and thus met her husband Tim. You have been warned. Romantic people, birders...)
