Dust: or, the Getting of Wisdom
May. 19th, 2011 05:31 pmSee now, a wise person would have done all the balancing-and-heaving, all the wheezing and hauling, all the opening boxes and muttering "that's not Feast, where's Feast? I must have a boxful somewhere..." before changing into pretty gig clothes, yes. *brushes ineffectually at self*
Also, a truly wise person would not allow the dust to build up inches thick, when they were both chronically asthmatic and known to be allergic to house dust mite. *wheezes*
Still'n'all. Boxes are. Books are in boxes. A lift has been offered and gleefully accepted. I am almost poised, and almost ready.
I want a drink.
Actually I want several drinks, but that would be ... indiscreet.
