There is an imbalance in the uniforce...
Sep. 15th, 2011 05:12 pm...whereby some people get to be young and living in Paris, and I do not. How is this? Where is this right?
In other news, it's been another utterly gorgeous autumn day here, and we have visited all the churches. All of them. Even better, we found a lovely Georgian restaurant for lunch and I had gizzards, on a salad dressed in goose-fat. (Karen didn't. She had beef.)
And now we are sitting here with our wines and our internets and the windows all open, and I do love this metropolitan living and wish it were mine. Though I swear my French is getting worse day by day. After another week I'd be reduced to pointing. So it's probably just as well we have to leave on Saturday.
