Sick and sicker

desperanceK and I are competingly ill today. Things are worse for her, so I have to make more fuss to compensate. Still:
If I write one per cent a day, I'll be done in a hundred days. That's science, that is. (Bizarrely, today I wrote the exact same number of words - 967 - as I wrote yesterday. I'm sure it must Mean Something.)
Also, the lawyer has sent in the paperwork on our petition for a fiance visa. The govt now knows the worst. Eek.
