Oh, your excuse is thoroughly validated, stamped and approved. Hell, my house stresses me, and I'm not even moving.

And yes, I did finish a book, but that only makes things worse; right now I am trying to revise that book at the same time as checking two different sets of proofs and writing two entirely different short stories, all with immediate deadlines, while also drawing up a proposal for the next big novel. And I'm a bloke, we're not supposed to do multitasking; I like one thing at a time and no distractions. Gah.
