Not shipping computer. Computer lacks voltage-switch; UK power no use in USA. Will buy new computer. Meanwhile, will stay online one more day (till they come to take the internets away).

Good plan! Might be worth pulling the disk from the old one, or leaving it with a friend who can hold it for you for awhile to access your data in a terrible pinch.
