DO NOT LIFT THE SOFA!
Of course the cat will dive into the space revealed to snare his fevver, and any incidental mousie; and of course he's not going to come out again, just because the sofa is fucking heavy and you can't hold it up for long.
Luckily there are two of us, and we could trade off in between hysterics, so noMac anonymouse cat had his back broken, but oy. One of us might've said it was rank idiocy, before the other one insisted that we do this.
*collapse of stout party, in giggles and o-my-aching-back-and-have-I-mentioned-the-asthma?*
(The fevver-on-a-stick continues to be the best toy ever, until the new red dot arrives. Our feline overlords wholeheartedly approve of a game-based regimen.)
