I've just indexed 3,500 recipes which I can filter by type, ingredient and ethnicity inter alia. This represents half an hour's typing and twizzling around in my chair to get at the bookshelves.
Or in other words, yes, I have signed up with Eat Your Books. After a conversation with one of the founders, wherein we discovered her business model is at variance to my life-model, but hey. That's unsurprising. And her service is deeply attractive, albeit a dangerous timesink. (For reference: those 3500 recipes came from 25 books, which constitutes, um. Certainly less than five per cent of my collection. I'll have a better idea once I've entered all the rest of 'em. This could take some time...)
