So I've catalogued the first hundred of my cookbooks. This is not (I think) 20% of the collection, and so far it's yielded 10,000 recipes from the 46% of those that have already been indexed. Apparently that's an unusually low number; most people come out at 65% or so. And I haven't really got down into the odd stuff yet, what I've been listing so far is pretty common fare. I'm not sure how much the numbers are biased by the collection's being largely built in England, and how far it demonstrates my own case as an outlier, but I am expecting that number to drop.
