It also occurs to me that I happen to know that there's a goose in the cabinet at Lucky's. And if I bought it, and cooked it, I would have a whole lot more goose fat to roast tatties in.
Hmm. Goose is a bit of a special-occasion bird. And costly, unless you choose to consider it a bargain because of all that free goose fat. And as it happens, we are coming up on a run of special occasions. Perhaps I should proclaim a dinner...?
