IIATUA - at least in this house - that wherever there is a bag, there shall a cat be also. Mike was kind enough to visit with luggage from far away. His suitcase has been tested and found acceptable, but it's the backpack that's the real hit:



In other news, I made a bacon. Cured it in salts and sugar, dried it, smoked it in the grill until it looked and felt and smelled yummy (I trust my nose and eyes and fingers more than my thermometer, alas) and cooled it off and wrapped it, and this afternoon I ate of it, and yum.



There is no other news. I am floundering a little here. I might just have to go and sit in the weather for a while.
