The perils of habit-forming
Apr. 25th, 2013 05:08 pmIt is demonstrably self-defeating to fall into the practice of proper shopping-lists on a proper pad. When the pad runs out, there is nothing on which to write your need of another pad; but you are already dependent, and so doomed.
The best I can manage is to eke out (with a blank - insufficient Ps) the words "shopping pad" with magnetic Scrabble letters on the fridge, and hope that act of clinging will cause a replicant in my own mind by sympathetic magic. The likelihood of this you should feel free to calculate, by any means necessary.
In other news, no doubt one day I will do something, but that day is apparently not this day.
