Yay! Here I was, cheerfully sending e-mails and hatching plots, when there was a thundering upon my door. So Barry and I went to investigate, and it was our favourite courier (the one who watched & giggled while I chased Barry down the street in my bathrobe) with two large and bursting-at-the-seams boxes. Containing many copies of 'River of the World', three weeks before publication...

Here is a pretty picture:

- which is only inaccurate in its blurb, which has been replaced by a generous comment from [livejournal.com profile] matociquala, whom we adore.

It'll be going up for sale from my website, as soon as we get that organised. Meantime, though, if any of my LJ-friends fancy an early copy, it's a flat fifteen quid to you, inc p&p. Just drop me a line to chaz at chazbrenchley dot co dot uk, and we'll sort it...

ObGroucho: How a street got into your bathrobe I'll never know.

Well, somebody had to say it.

Oh, hey - if Clive Barker (and others) can fit a whole world into a carpet, I can surely squeeze a mere street into my bathrobe. I am vast, I contain multitudes; need a street or two, to accommodate 'em...

Now that I think about it, the image is more Grant Morrison to me than Clive Barker. Which is probably the memetic echo of Danny the Street.
