I've never been asked to proof-listen an audiobook before. Nor have I ever sat through anyone else's reading of my work before. I really don't want to do this - they don't read like I read, therefore they're reading it wrong! - but I've already confirmed that yup, he can't pronounce aspidochelone, so I suppose I'd better. *emits audible sigh*
