And his name shall be called wonderful*

The rain currently being chucked against our roof and pinging in the gutters has been given a name, apparently. It is Pacific Storm Eric. No, really.
The scratch in my throat that has kept me coughing half the night I have decided to call hachiya, for it has become intimately confused in my nearly-sleeping, almost-dreaming mind with the bag of persimmons I was planning to bake from tomorrow, which shall be called today, except that I want to go back to bed first.
And the hot toddy I am gulping down, which is my last resort (for I have taken all the cough medicine and drunk all the water except the rain, and I am still coughing), is made with one of these fruits that look like a lemon but are really a lime, so you might as well call me Limey.
*We went to a singalong Messiah, in Stanford Memorial Church. What's German for earworm? For it is a thunderous and mighty beast, full of Sturm und Drang. And Eric.
