Because I just found him nesting on a box of a dozen eggs, that's how. Trying to hatch them, obviously.

He's a smart boy, but the mysteries of fertility are closed to him.

That amused me no end. Keithmarmel has no interest in Eggs. But he will rifle through draws, boxes, anything if he suspects it contains a straw.

Mac, on the other hand, has figured out that if he knocks a box of eggs off the table, then some will break and he can eat them; the rest will roll around, and he can play with them. Aaargh!

He loves/hates straws. He has a designated 'straw playing place' at the top of the stairs. Once he has his straw he'll pick it up in his mouth. Take it to his place and kill it. If it's knocked down the stairs he'll bring it back and start all over again.

I buy boxes of straws for him. They have to be the bendy type. Other straws are not good enough and get ignored.
