When (for once) you remember to unpack exciting edibles like blue cheese and pate, solely in order to prevent the boys from breaking into the backpack to steal same, it would help if you remembered also to put same away in safe places, rather than just leaving them out on the counter.

Mar. 6th, 2008 03:44 pmSo I was browsing the newspapers this morning, and the Guardian has a front page story which is actually pretty cool beans, about an MRI technique that deduces what the subject is looking at - but the significant thing is not the story, it's the phrase "Writing in the journal Nature..."
I looked at that, and thought "Is it me? No, I don't believe it is. One of my colleagues, then..."

I've just seen Mac having a good long steady slurp at the water-bowl. For the first time since he moved in, a year ago. That'll teach him to tiger down an unhealthy portion of blue cheese. Hitherto he's always asserted that gushyfudz provided plenty enough water for any sensible desert cat...
