Panel and ciabattary
Mar. 15th, 2009 12:45 pmOkay. I have made the ciabatta dough, and risen it, and divided it, and set it to rise again. (Come to think, counting the sponge last night, this is the third time. I can bake God?)
I do have to say that without exception, this is the nastiest, wettest, stickiest dough I have ever had to work with (and the recipe says, quite loudly, Do Not Add More Flour! So I didn't. Eww). It better make good bread, or I am looking elsewhere next time.
Meantime, while it rises again, I have to do a panel over at Flycon. You will find me pontificating under "Hard-boiled Fantasy". If you're quick.
