No sightings in the wild yet, but my new collection Bitter Waters, from the estimable Lethe Press, is now very thoroughly available. Bill Schafer got his copy this morning, so what are you-all waiting for? (Why yes, this is indeed the collection that had a starred review from Publishers Weekly; how good of you to remember that...)

(Also I was notified that the e-book is now available from All Romance eBooks. Which is sweet of them to let me know, and kind of nostalgic, given that my earliest ventures into publishing - lo, these thirty-seven years since - were straight romances. This book, I have to tell you, contains little that is either straight or romantic.)

Here, have another glimpse of the gorgeous cover by Elizabeth Leggett, just because you can:

Meryl Streep to play Florence Foster Jenkins.

'Nuff said.

(If you have not had the privilege of listening to Florence, then just play the little video at the end of the linked report. If you have survived that, then seek out her version of the "Queen of the Night" aria from The Magic Flute.)

[EtA: actually I was listening to the vid - Adele's "Laughing Song" from Die Fledermaus - and it might even be better/worse than the notorious Queen of the Night. Might be. You decide.]
