desperance...it has come to my attention that my story, "Terminal", has been nominated for the BSFA awards. Which is very lovely, but it's something of a misnomer, because 'nomination' doesn't mean what you think it means. In truth this is like a first round of voting, and those stories that accumulate the most nominations are those that make the shortlist next year.
Soooo... Far be it from me to canvass for votes (obviously!): but...
Here is the story, for those of you who are interested. Those of you who like it and have a vote with the BSFA, remember: a vote costs you nothing, and the more votes it accumulates now, the more likely it is to make the shortlist, and like that...
