Hee. I bought my Eastercon membership last night - and Softly's! He is an authorised official attending Soft Toy! Withabadge! He's very pleased.

And no, I will not be parading him around the con, thanks. He will be in the bag, as ever, where we can both feel comfy about him.

Oh, and if anyone wants a copy of Phantoms at the Phil vol 3, let me know and bring a tenner. I'll bring copies.

I would like Phantoms at the Phil please, and will collect it in person at Eastercon. (Did you ever track down those copies of Vol. 1 that you mentioned a while ago? If so I'm prepared to offer both money and beer for one of them)

You will be at Eastercon! Hurrah! We must get together and eat and drink and talk and stuff.

Yes please to "Phantoms at the Phil". I will be clutching a tenner.

I shall tap you on the shoulder with a volume, say "you are [livejournal.com profile] pennski and I claim my ten pounds."

And then, yes. Eating and drinking and talking. Stuff. All good.

Kuma Bear (pictured) rides in my wife's backpack, but she also designed a seat belt for him so that she can open the top of the pack and have him looking out. That way she can show off his costumes without worrying about him falling out or people grabbing him (the latter has, alas, happened).

Hee. Seatbelt. That's so cool...

Softly is not so much a one for dressing up. I did knit him a long scarf one time, in many colours - and yes, it would've been early seventies, so definitely BakerWho style - which he was still wearing into the nineties, but I think we've lost it now. Mostly he's just there, which is what matters.

But, yes. Grabbing. It does happen.
